I think this was my favourite book in the series yet！ There were so many twists and turns trying to learn more about who Poppy truly is。 It was fast paced with a lot more action throughout the novel than the last one， which I loved！ The plot also seemed more complex and not as young adult too which kept me very intrigued。 And man does she knows how to write a cliff hanger， I need the next book now！！

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 I have been waiting for what feels like thousands of months for this book。 I love this series， the characters， the world building etc。。。 however， this book fell flat for me。 As an avid fantasy reader I feel like I can foresee the plot in many books， I liked this series because it was one where I couldn’t。 Until this book。 The first 1/8 of the book was interesting and answered a few questions left by the previous book， then there’s about 300 pages of poppy “waxing poetic” about her feelings。 I’m I have been waiting for what feels like thousands of months for this book。 I love this series， the characters， the world building etc。。。 however， this book fell flat for me。 As an avid fantasy reader I feel like I can foresee the plot in many books， I liked this series because it was one where I couldn’t。 Until this book。 The first 1/8 of the book was interesting and answered a few questions left by the previous book， then there’s about 300 pages of poppy “waxing poetic” about her feelings。 I’m talking pages and pages of Poppy’s inner monologue， the repetition of it every 6 or 7 pages nearly drove me insane。 I enjoy a strong female character， It seemed to me like poppy lost that until the last 10 pages。 Additionally， all the *plot twists* are predictable and tend to give less credibility to the author， I predict the next book is gonna come and say “just kidding to everything you read in the last book”。 So， I’m disappointed， this could have been way better。 。。。more

Simplemente sin palabras。Este libro me ha destrozado， me ha vuelto a componer y me ha vuelto a dejar destrozada una y otra y otra vez， para dejarme con la que， posiblemente fue una de las peores resacas literarias que he sufrido con un libro en mucho tiempo。Si tenía dudas de que la saga From Blood and Ash de Jennifer L。 Armentrout se había convertido en mis favorita de la autora， este libro ha despejado todas las dudas （mínimas） que tuviera。 Aún no me cabe en la cabeza cómo esta mujer puede crea Simplemente sin palabras。Este libro me ha destrozado， me ha vuelto a componer y me ha vuelto a dejar destrozada una y otra y otra vez， para dejarme con la que， posiblemente fue una de las peores resacas literarias que he sufrido con un libro en mucho tiempo。Si tenía dudas de que la saga From Blood and Ash de Jennifer L。 Armentrout se había convertido en mis favorita de la autora， este libro ha despejado todas las dudas （mínimas） que tuviera。 Aún no me cabe en la cabeza cómo esta mujer puede crear cada libro que saca， pero es que la complejidad y el contenido que tiene esta saga en concreto son de otro mundo。 Sin duda Jennifer L。 Armentrout ha tenido muchos años para crecer como autora y nos ha ido regalando libros a cada cual mejor que el anterior。 Y con esto no quiero decir que sus primeros libros （la saga Covenant o la saga Lux， por decir algunos）， sean de baja calidad， porque son estupendos y siempre serán de mis favoritos y guardarán un lugar especial en mi corazón porque con ella descubrí a esta maravillosa autora。 Pero sin duda se puede atisbar la madurez y experiencia que ha ido adquiriendo Jennifer a lo largo de los años。 Esta saga derrocha ingenio por sus cuatro costados。 La escritura es impecable y la forma en que ha creado a unos personajes tan vivos， con tantos matices y tan reales， es que es digno de admirar y alabar。 Jennifer L。 Armentrout es magnífica en todo lo que escribe， pero es que estos libros son de otro mundo。Como podéis notar， tengo el hype muy por las nubes， aun habiendo pasado un mes de haberme terminado el libro， sigo flipando con él y， sin duda alguna， cuando pueda echarle mano a un ejemplar en papel， me lo pienso releer （porque sí， tuve la suerte de leer un ARC de la novela un mes y pico antes de que salga en papel oficialmente， que lo hará el próximo 20 de abril， por cierto）。Bueno， ¿por dónde empiezo a hablar de este libro？ No sé qué contar sin meter ningún spoiler。 Han pasado tantas cosas en los anteriores libros。。。el final del segundo nos dejaba con el corazón en un puño， la boca abierta y un sinfín de teorías sobre lo que iba a suceder a continuación y qué sería de Poppy y Casteel。 Sólo os diré una cosa: no lo tendrán nada fácil。 No sólo tienen un enemigo muy visible y malvado al que hacer frente - Los Ascendentes y la Reina de Solís - sino que el peligro también acecha dentro de su nuevo pueblo y en las personas más cercanas a Casteel。 Poppy tiene que hacer frente a todos los descubrimientos que está haciendo sobre sí misma， mientras intenta evitar una guerra en su lucha por salvar a su hermano y al de Casteel， mientras se enfrenta a un pueblo dividido que la idolatra y la teme a partes iguales。 Pero la gente que la teme y desconfía de ella se lo harán pasar muy mal y es que Poppy pasará por mucho， sufrirá lo indecible y tendrá que luchar hasta su último aliento。 Menos mal que tiene a Casteel y a Kieran de su lado， y a todos los lobos， pero aún así， no lo tendrá nada fácil， como decía antes。 El desarrollo de esta novela es increíble。 Tiene un ritmo que te atrapa y te consume， de principio a fin。 No hay un momento para el descanso， para tomar aliento。 Sí， hay ciertos pequeños "respiros"， donde podemos disfrutar del increíble amor que se profesan Casteel y Poppy， podemos saborear su pasión y su entrega。 Y hay incontables escenas maravillosas e increíbles。 La trama se va desarrollando de forma vertiginosa y， si tenéis algún problema del corazón， os advierto: es posible que se os pare en más de un momento。 Un principio apoteósico y un final de infarto。 No sé cómo voy a sobrevivir hasta que salga el siguiente libro。Estoy que me muero de las ganas de que se publique el primer libro en español， porque sí， he de daros la feliz noticia de que esta saga va a traducirse al español y no puedo estar más emocionada。 De momento， queda esperar a la publicación en español del primer libro y a la publicación de los siguientes en inglés。 Pero JLA no nos va a dejar así como así esperando， ya que está escribiendo la saga precuela a esta y es posible que tengamos el primer libro a lo largo de este año， así que no puedo estar más contenta。En definitiva， si no os importa leer en inglés， os animo a darle una oportunidad a una saga épica， llena de aventura， amor， pasión y traición， súper compleja y completa， llena de matices， que os robará el corazón y casi la cordura。 。。。more
